Spring Break 2011

Monday morning, the first day of Spring Break, we woke up to SNOW! So I put my brave face on and pretended that I was excited. We put on our snow clothes (luckily not packed away yet) and went out. The kids thought it was fun throwing snowballs at mom (especially Jonas). Then we made a snow bunny together. He turned out cute. By the end of the week it was warm enough to go to the park.

We made a fort and read books inside.
It was a big hit, and not too big of a mess :)

Spring Break ended with General Conference. The kids did really well listening this year. We set up three tables so they each had their own space to do their conference packets and eat their yummy treats.

Maybe next year Spring Break will be a little later in the month and it will actually feel like Spring.

Ha! I was just going to say the same thing: You are such a good mom! I'm evil. I only took my kids out to play in the snow ONE TIME the whole winter. I hate being cold with a passion and... well, it doesn't help that we've never actually bought official snow attire. Maybe I can redeem myself in the years to come. (Or maybe I'll live in Hawaii and conveniently never get the chance...)

again with the snow in April - it's so sad! :) And what you don't like the chicken little look for Lucas with the baseball helmet?? I think the theory behind helmets in t-ball is the wildly inaccurate kids throwing the ball in the field....somebody's gotta be safe. :) Oh and you both were right on the kid photos - Jeff mixed up the girls.

I love that you have a blog. I'm going to keep following it if that's o.k. Very cute pics.
