Grandpa Skidmore

Grandpa Skidmore passed away at the beginning of September.  We loved grandpa and he will be missed.  He was hard working and loved his family.  He had a big heart and took care of his loved ones.

This picture shows one of my all time favorite memories of grandpa.
He found some horses so he and Hannah could play together.
She loved it.  He even let her keep one of the horses.

Grandpa had a pair of boots for every occasion.  He was a farmer through and through.  When Hannah was little she called him "Cowboy Grandpa".  All of the kids loved going to grandpa's and seeing his farm and cows.  I love this picture of grandma and grandpa at the beach.  (Notice the boots.)

Grandma asked Brady and I to sing at the funeral and
we chose the song "Be Still My Soul".
We're so grateful for the knowledge that we will see him again.

First Day of School

Hannah and Eli were excited to start school again.  Hannah is in fourth grade and Eli is in second grade.  Hannah's teacher is Miss Jolley and Eli has Mrs. Deaner.

Jonas is going to the same preschool that his older siblings attended.
He is excited to go to school at Miss Karla's.

Brigham City Temple Open House

At the beginning of September, we took the kids down to the Brigham City Temple open house.  What a beautiful temple!  It was awesome to take the kids and see their expressions as they saw the beautiful rooms in the temple.

Here they are with the shoe covers on, ready to go in.

On the way home, we went through Logan so we could see Grandpa Skidmore one last time before he passed away.  It was good to see Grandma Skidmore and Aunt Jill too.
