Our kids go to the best elementary school. They had a heroes night and their principal dressed up as Captain America and the counselor dressed as Mr. Incredible. Awesome!
Hannah and Eli both signed up to be volunteer readers. They both did great!
Jonas has acquired a new skill. He loves putting puzzles together! I love it and he feels so good about himself when he can do it all by himself. I just got him a new Spiderman puzzle. Two of his favorites (Spiderman and puzzles).
It finally snowed last month (Feb 20). It has been a very dry winter.
We bundled up and went to a nearby park so we could finally try out the sled the kids got for Christmas. We had so much fun playing together as a family.
Here's Brady pushing Hannah so she can go extra fast (and far).
We had a contest to see who could go the farthest.
This video makes me giggle. Eli is in the front and Jonas is hanging on in back... so cute!
We went to American Fork this month for Brenna's baptism.
We got there Friday night and came back Sunday afternoon,
but we packed that short time full of fun!
Here's Hannah and her cousin Brenna.
We went to Thanksgiving Point after the baptism for lunch.
After our yummy lunch we went to the Bean Museum at BYU with the Smith family (my sister Carrie's family) and saw the cool animal exhibits.
The kids loved touching the turtle and snake.
I love the expression on Jonas' face in this picture!
We had to take a picture with the liger (bred for it's skills in magic).
Here we are at Macey's eating our enormous MEDIUM sized ice cream cones.
We stopped at Temple Square on the way home on Sunday. Hannah and Brady went into the tabernacle to hear Music and the Spoken Word. I took the boys to watch it on the big screen in the nearby visitors' center. Eli was extremely disappointed to miss seeing it live so afterwards we went as a family to watch the choir practice in the tabernacle. Eli LOVED it! I'm glad that it turned out to be a positive experience.
Eli got Mario Galaxy 2 for Christmas and last Saturday he beat it. Less than 2 weeks after Christmas! Granted he got a lot of playing time the week after Christmas because he was sick, but still... this guy is amazing :)
The kids got a trampoline for Christmas. We told them that we would set it up in the spring because there is too much snow in the winter. Well, it's been an incredibly mild winter (thus far) so we decided to enjoy the weather and set it up.
I guess if it snows next week you'll know who to blame!
